How Superior Architects rose from the ashes...
On December 30, 2021, The Marshall Fire devastated over 1,000 homes in Superior, Louisville and unincorporated Boulder County, Colorado.
Our family home was destroyed in that fire. I've been building and designing all my life, so I pulled up my bootstraps and got to work. But when I realized that so many people around me that were devastated and didn't know how to navigate the building process, I figured that if I could design one house, I could design ten.
It started with giving advice, then information sessions at community centers and neighborhood houses. Then I was asked if I could design one resident a home...
And that's how Superior Architects began.
